ABOUT THIS EVENT

The Hiss is a hilarious comedy set in the urban city of Lagos, featuring the encounter between an Okada man and his passenger as they travel through the streets.

The Satirical play lampoons the state of affairs in our society with each episode concluded with a Hiss.
The play is a multimedia showcase incorporating video, stage, music and expansive humour. However, this story ends with an unusual twist.
The Hiss is slated to happen over the upcoming May Day Weekend.

Time: 3pm and 6pm

The show would be on at the Ayo Bankole Centre, 32,Yesufu Sanusi Street off Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, Surulere, Lagos on April 30th, and on May 1st and 2nd at the Lagos Country Club, 2, Joel Ogunnaike Street, GRA Ikeja, Lagos by 3pm and 6pm respectively.

This production is a collaboration between Live Theatre on Sunday, Lagos Country Club and the Ayo Bankole Centre for Arts and Cultural Expression.

Live Theatre on Sunday was inspired by the resurgence in the appreciation of the theatre arts.
The project started in 2008 with the sole objective of presenting spectacular stage play performance and thus contributes significantly to the revival of theatre art form in Nigeria's popular culture.

Live Theatre on Sunday has featured notable talents in the Nigerian entertainment industry such as Yinka Davies, Gabriel Afolayan, Matse Uwatse, Igos, Omonor Somolu, Ego etc in many productions including J.P.Clark's 'Song of a Goat', 'The Wives' Revolt', Ola Rotimi's 'Our Husband Has Gone Mad Again', 'Grip Am', Man Talk Woman Talk' and most recently, and Zulu Sofola's 'The Wizard of Law.
